A: Please refer to our operation video first, record a video following the steps (installing the battery, charging, powering on) and send it to us. If the operation is confirmed correct but it still doesn't work, we will arrange a replacement for you.

1.2 Version & Function Description
Q: The "Retro Filter" name on KF2 is incorrect?
A: In version 3.0, the correct name for the retro filter is "Sepia". This is the normal display after the version update.

Q: What's the difference between KF2 and KC2?
A: They mainly differ in appearance; functions are basically the same. You can choose based on personal preference.

1.3 Battery & Usage
Q: Is it normal for the battery level indicator to jump (false power)?
A: Yes, slight jumps in the battery level during charging or use are normal. If the camera can be used for 30–50 minutes after a full charge, it's normal.

Q: The screen is black but the flash lights up?
A: It might be that the DISP button was accidentally pressed, turning off the screen. Please remove the battery and restart. If it still doesn't work, we will arrange a replacement.

Q: What should I do if the screen shows distortion after taking a photo?
A: Remove the battery and memory card, power on without the card and take a photo. If it's normal, the issue is with the memory card; if distortion persists, it's a camera issue.

Q: KF4 runs out of power in less than 10 minutes?
A: Please confirm whether the battery is securely fastened. If the battery cannot be fastened properly, it may be a battery issue. We will arrange a battery replacement for you.

1.1 Connection & Transfer
Q: Photos downloaded from KP2 are not in the phone album?
A: Photos need to be downloaded to the APP first, then saved to the phone album from the APP's "Local Files". It's a two-step process.

Q: How to connect KP2 to WiFi?

1.2 Function Issues
Q: KP2 recorded video has noise?
A: The camera microphone does not have noise reduction function, so ambient sounds will be recorded. This is normal.

Q: KP2 cannot zoom in/out?
A: Press the T button to zoom in first, then the W button to zoom out. Do not hold the shutter button while operating. If it still doesn't work, try restoring factory settings.

1.1 Hardware Issue
Q: The lens of KPV camera easily falls off?
A: If the lens falls off, please provide photos, and we will arrange a replacement camera for you.

4.1 Pre-Recording Function Q: What is the pre-recording function? A: The pre-recording function means the camera continuously buffers footage captured by the sensor. When you press the shutter, it merges and saves the footage captured before pressing the shutter and the footage captured after pressing the shutter.

4.2 Pre-Recording Duration Q: How long can pre-recording capture? A: The pre-recording duration is affected by multiple factors including resolution, frame rate, storage bandwidth, shooting scenes and shooting methods. Different resolutions, shooting scenes such as close shots, long shots, indoor and outdoor environments, static and dynamic scenes, as well as different shooting angles and methods including static and mobile shooting will all change the pre-recording effect and duration.

Normal Mode: 5K/30fps, 4K/60fps, 4K/30fps, 2K/60fps, 1080P/60fps and 720P/60fps support 10 seconds pre-recording; 2K/30fps supports 12 seconds pre-recording; 1080P/30fps and 720P/30fps support 30 seconds pre-recording; 720P/120fps supports 3 seconds pre-recording.

EIS Stabilization Mode: 4K/60fps, 2.7K/60fps, 1080P/60fps and 720P/60fps support 3 seconds pre-recording; 4K/30fps supports 4 seconds pre-recording; 2.7K/30fps supports 5 seconds pre-recording; 1080P/30fps supports 7 seconds pre-recording; 720P/30fps supports 8 seconds pre-recording.

Note: Besides resolution and frame rate, other factors will also affect the actual pre-recording duration.

4.3 Scene Adaptation Recommendations Q: What pre-recording durations are recommended for different scenes? A: For macro still life and fixed-angle close-ups with minimal scene motion, the recommended pre-recording duration is 2–5 seconds. This kind of scene has high visual consistency, so a short pre-recording window is sufficient to capture the desired complete shot.

For daily portraits and casual landscape shots with moderate scene motion, the recommended pre-recording duration is 5–10 seconds. This duration perfectly balances camera storage buffer usage and effectively captures various spontaneous key shooting moments in daily scenes.

For sports events and wildlife action shots with high scene motion, the recommended pre-recording duration is 10–20 seconds. Fast-moving shooting subjects may easily lead to missing critical moments, and a longer pre-recording window can fully record the lead-up and complete process of dynamic actions to ensure no key footage is missed.

5.1 What should I do if my camera can't connect to Wi-Fi? First, please read the instruction manual for connecting the camera to Wi-Fi and confirm that the corresponding app is correctly installed on your phone; restart both the camera and your phone's Wi-Fi, and ensure they are in the same Wi-Fi network; if the connection still fails, you can restore the camera to factory settings and then re-pair it, keeping the phone and camera within 1 meter of each other during pairing.

1.1 Recording Rotation Function Q: I can't enable the recording rotation function. What should I do? A: The recording rotation function is off by default and needs to be enabled manually in the settings, labeled as "Recording rotation". There are two modes: manual rotation, which only requires enabling "Recording rotation" and disabling Face Tracking; and Face Tracking, which requires enabling both "Recording rotation" and "Face detect". Q: How to turn on recording rotation and face detect function correctly? A: Step 1: Go to Settings and confirm that Recording rotation is enabled. Step 2: In recording parameters, confirm that Face detect is enabled.

1.2 Screen Unlock Fault Q: The screen is frozen and won't swipe to unlock. What should I do? A: Please swipe right to unlock the screen.

1.3 WiFi Page Stuck Problem Q: I'm stuck on the WiFi page and can't exit. What should I do? A: Please press the M key to exit the WiFi page.

1.4 Mirror Rotation Display Fault Q: The picture flips upside down when mirror rotation is enabled. What should I do? A: Please disable the "Image Rotation" function to restore the normal view.

1.5 Recording Zoom Function Q: Can I zoom during recording? A: The zoom in/out function is supported during video recording.

1.6 EIS Stabilization Settings & Restrictions Q: How to use EIS stabilization? Are there any restrictions? A: EIS stabilization is off by default and needs to be enabled manually in settings. Note that EIS and Face detect cannot be enabled together, so you need to disable Face detect first. 4K 60fps and above resolutions do not support EIS stabilization. To use stabilization, please set the resolution to 4K 30fps or lower.

2.1 Horizontal & Vertical Screen Shooting Settings Q: How to switch between horizontal and vertical screen for video recording and photography? A: For video recording, enter the settings and select 1080PV or 720PV in the resolution parameter settings to enable vertical screen recording. For photography, vertical screen shooting is not supported.

2.2 Wide-Angle Function Description Q: Can I turn off the wide-angle function? A: The wide-angle function cannot be disabled due to technical limitations.

2.3 Lens Rotation Noise Issue Q: The lens makes a noise when rotating. Is this normal? A: This is normal. A slight rotating sound is expected during lens movement.

1.1 Power On & Black Screen Issues
Q: My camera won't turn on and shows a black screen. What should I do?
A: Please reset the device first using the R reset hole on the left side. If the black screen persists, perform a firmware upgrade: format the memory card on a computer, save the firmware file to the card, insert the card, then press the Power key to start the upgrade. A blinking blue light and an on-screen progress bar indicate the upgrade is running. Once complete, remove the memory card, reset the device, and power it on.

1.2 Gimbal & Lens Issues
Q: The lens or gimbal is loose and won't stay fixed. Is this normal?
A: This is normal. When powered off, the gimbal/lens is in a relaxed state and cannot lock its position. When powered on, the gimbal/lens will automatically lock the shooting angle for normal use.

Q: How do I clean the lens safely?
A: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the lens. Avoid using liquids or harsh materials that could damage the lens coating.

1.3 Charging & Overheating Issues
Q: The camera gets very hot after about 20 minutes of charging. What should I do?
A: Please confirm two points: (1) Are you using the original charger? (2) Is the environment temperature very high? If both are normal, the camera may have a hardware issue. Please provide photos/videos and we will arrange a replacement.

Q: How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
A: It typically takes 2-3 hours to fully charge the battery using the original charger. Avoid using fast chargers as they may damage the battery.

1.4 Image Quality & Focus Issues
Q: Photos appear blurry or out of focus. How can I fix this?
A: Ensure the lens is clean and the camera is held steady while taking photos. Try adjusting the focus manually if your model supports it. If the issue persists, it may be a hardware problem and we can arrange a replacement.

Q: Why do some photos have color distortion?
A: Color distortion can occur due to lighting conditions or incorrect white balance settings. Try adjusting the white balance in the camera settings or taking photos in different lighting conditions.

1.5 System & Operation Issues
Q: The camera freezes or becomes unresponsive. What should I do?
A: Remove the battery and memory card, wait 10 seconds, then reinstall them and power on. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset (note: this will delete all photos). If it still doesn't work, we will arrange a replacement.

Q: How do I update the firmware?
A: Format the memory card on a computer, download the latest firmware from our website, save it to the card, insert the card into the camera, then press and hold the Up/Down key plus the Power key to start the upgrade process.

1.6 Photo & Video Aspect Ratio
Q: How do I change the photo aspect ratio?
A: Go to the camera settings menu and look for "Image Size" or "Aspect Ratio" options. Select your preferred ratio (e.g., 4:3, 16:9, 1:1) from the available options.

Q: Can I record videos in different resolutions?
A: Yes, most K-pocket models support multiple video resolutions. Check your camera's settings menu for "Video Resolution" or "Video Quality" options to select your preferred resolution.

1.7 Accessory Compatibility
Q: What accessories are compatible with K-pocket cameras?
A: K-pocket cameras are compatible with standard camera accessories including tripods, protective cases, memory cards (check your manual for supported types), and external batteries. Always verify compatibility with your specific model before purchasing.

Q: Can I use third-party batteries and chargers?
A: We recommend using original K-pocket batteries and chargers to ensure optimal performance and safety. Using third-party accessories may void your warranty and could damage the camera.

1. Indicator Light Status Description Q: What do the different indicator light statuses mean? A: Steady red light indicates paper jam, no paper, uncollected paper, missing ribbon cassette or ribbon abnormality. Slow-flashing red light means low battery. Fast-flashing red light refers to overheating device. Steady blue light means the device is ready, printing, or fully charged. Slow-flashing blue light indicates charging in progress. Fast-flashing blue light means the device is booting up. Alternating red and blue flashing indicates firmware upgrading.

3. Unknown Printing Failure Q: The printing task fails without specific error prompts. What should I do? A: Click the retry button on the APP to display the detailed failure reason, then troubleshoot according to the prompt information.

4. Blank Printing Output Q: The printer outputs blank photos with no content. How to fix it? A: Please check the device battery level and ribbon remaining capacity, confirm the photo paper is flat and intact, then reinstall the photo paper and ribbon. Place the printer on a flat and stable surface during printing. If the problem persists, update the device firmware and the HPRT Photo APP to the latest version.

5. APP Prompt: Out of Ribbon Q: The APP pops up the prompt "out of ribbon". What should I do? A: Check whether the ribbon is insufficient, wrinkled or damaged. If you use an unauthorized ribbon, you need to provide the mileage code for verification. You can also replace a new standard ribbon to solve the problem.

6. Photo Blank Margin Issue Q: There is a blank area on the printed photo. Is this abnormal? A: This is a normal phenomenon. The actual paper size is 97 mm * 53 mm, while the effective printing range is 86 mm * 53 mm. The reserved blank margin is used for fixing photos with clips during display.

7. Jammed Ribbon Removal Q: The ribbon is stuck and cannot be taken out. How to handle it? A: Restart the printer and wait for the device to completely reset without any sound, then try to take out the ribbon. Place the printer with the paper outlet facing upward and tap the device gently to remove the stuck ribbon. If the ribbon still cannot be removed, please send the device for professional maintenance.

8. Calibration File Download Failure Q: The APP shows "Color calibration file download failed" during printing. What is the solution? A: The failure is caused by network certificate verification exceptions. Please switch to a stable network and retry the printing operation.

9. APP Prompt: Lack of Paper Q: The APP pops up the prompt "Lack of paper". How to troubleshoot? A: Check whether the photo paper is placed abnormally or damaged. Update the HPRT Photo APP and device firmware to the latest version, or replace with a new ribbon for trial.

10. Poor Printing Effect Q: The photo printing quality is unsatisfactory. How to improve it? A: Update the device firmware and APP version, adjust the filter effects in the APP, or replace with new qualified photo paper to optimize the printing effect.

11. APP Prompt: Position Error 1207 Q: The APP reports "position error 1207". What does this mean and how to fix it? A: This error is caused by abnormal encoder positioning. Please reinstall the ribbon completely or replace a new standard ribbon to resolve the positioning abnormality.

12. Paper Jam at Paper Outlet Q: Photo paper is stuck at the printer outlet. How to deal with it? A: Restart the printer, and the stuck paper will be automatically ejected. If it fails, gently clamp and take out the stuck photo paper with tweezers.
